Laboratory Oven (Gravity Convection Air Forced Circulation)
'Hecons' Laboratory ovens are used in a variety of thermal processing applications including general lab & research work, component and stability testing, core hardening, drying glassware, and sterilizing.
Construction: Double or Triple Walled construction with outer of Mild Steel duly Epoxy Powder Coated and inner of M.S / S.S / Aluminium. Work space is insulated from the outer cabinet with high density mineral wool. Chamber access is via a single hinged Double Walled side door, providing full and easy access with heavy duty hinges & spring and roller type latch catch for locking device. Wire mesh trays for better air circulation are also provided.
Heating: Heating is by 80/20 Nichrome wire with porcelain runner supports or S.S Tubular Air heaters or by Incoloy Tubular Heaters depending upon the working temperature requirements. Heater terminals are taken out for wiring thereby increasing the life of heaters and further avoiding the problem of burning of heater terminals & short circuiting of heater connections.
The 'Hecons' ovens are designed to provide extremely accurate temperature uniformity with no temperature overshoot.
Temp Range: 40 °C to 500 °C.
Temp Control by Liquid expansion type capillary thermostat or Electronic digital display time proportional temp controller with an accuracy of +/- 1 °C for lower temperatures and +/- 3 °C at higher temperatures.
